Same structure, new code
We built the website in 2019. In 2026, at the doctor’s request, the order of sections, the layout and the composition were kept; the logo, colour scale and fonts were updated, and the code underneath was written from scratch.
The old website was in Azerbaijani only; in a lab measurement, the main content of the homepage appeared after 18.8 seconds, and there was no structured data for search engines. The new website is in three languages, and the same measurement is 2.4 seconds.
Before and after
The figures come from the last audit of the old website and the first audit after the new one went live.
What we did
Code from scratch
jQuery 1.12, Bootstrap 4 and Revolution Slider were removed. The new website is static HTML; all fonts and scripts are served from the website’s own server, with no external CDN.
Three languages
Azerbaijani, Russian and English. Storm did the translation; each language has its own addresses (/xestelikler/miqren/, /ru/zabolevaniya/migren/).
Structure kept
Conditions and examination methods are in two separate branches, as in 2019 — the patient first reads about the condition, then about how it is checked.
Old addresses were not lost
36 URLs of the old website were redirected to the new pages with 301.
Author and dates on medical pages
Every condition page shows the author, the medical review date and the update date; the website also has separate medical disclaimer and editorial policy pages.
WhatsApp instead of a form
Contact goes straight through a WhatsApp button. With no form, the website collects no personal data.
Social media
Posts also start with the complaint, while the explanation is in the doctor's own words.
The monthly topic plan is aligned with the disease and examination sections on the website.

Frequently asked questions
Why did the design not change?
It was the doctor’s decision. The order of sections and the composition were taken from the 2019 version; the logo, colour scale and fonts were updated, and the code was rewritten entirely.
Why are examinations in a separate branch?
Someone reading about a diagnosis next asks “how do they determine this”. If the examination pages stayed inside the condition texts, the same explanation would be repeated for every condition. This structure dates from 2019 and was kept on the new website.
What happened to the old links?
36 addresses of the 2019 website were tied to the new pages with 301 redirects. Old links in search results and on other websites keep working.
